This Privacy Policy describes how PDF Master Pro ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use our Android application. All PDF processing happens directly on your device.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
PDF Master Pro does not require an account or login. We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal identifiers. All PDF processing (merging, splitting, converting, editing, compressing, watermarking, locking/unlocking, etc.) happens entirely on your device. Your documents are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party server for processing.
2. Permissions We Use and Why
Storage (Files and Media): To let you select PDF, image, Word, and Excel files from your device and save the processed output back to your device.
Camera: Used only when you choose to scan a document using the Scan Documents feature.
Notifications: Used to show progress for background tasks such as batch PDF processing.
Network / Internet: Used to display ads and check connectivity status. Your PDF files are never sent over the network.
Contacts, Microphone, Location: These permissions may appear in the app's permission manager screen for informational purposes. The app does not actively read your contacts, record audio, or track your location as part of any PDF feature.
3. Advertising
PDF Master Pro displays ads through Google AdMob, which may collect device and usage information (such as advertising ID and general location) to serve and measure ads. Learn more: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
4. Document Scanning
The Scan Documents feature processes images on your device; images are not sent to any external server for this feature.
5. Data Storage
All files you create or edit with PDF Master Pro are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to these files.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data or documents with third parties, except for the limited advertising data described in Section 3.
7. Children's Privacy
PDF Master Pro is not directed at children under 13.
8. Your Choices
You can deny or revoke any permission (Camera, Storage, Notifications) anytime from your device settings.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy; changes will appear on this page with an updated date.
