These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PDF Maker: Image to PDF ("the app"), developed by Apptriq. By using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. What the app does

PDF Maker lets you create, merge, split, compress, lock/unlock, edit, and view PDF files, using images you provide or documents you scan with your device's camera. All processing happens on your device — see the Privacy Policy for details on what stays local.

2. Your files

You keep full ownership of every file you create, import, or scan with the app. The app doesn't claim any rights to your PDFs or images, and doesn't retain a copy of them anywhere outside your own device.

3. Free (Basic) and Premium tiers

The app is free to use, with certain limits on page/file counts per tool and ad-supported usage ("Basic" tier). A Premium subscription removes ads and lifts those limits. Premium subscriptions are sold and managed through Google Play — this includes billing, auto-renewal, cancellation, and refunds, all handled by Google Play's own subscription system, not directly by Apptriq. Subscription price, trial length, and billing period are shown in the app and in the Google Play Store listing before you subscribe; those are the terms that apply.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes, and not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the app's source code except where applicable law explicitly permits it.

5. No warranty

The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Apptriq does not guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose. You're responsible for keeping your own backups of important files.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apptriq is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data.

7. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated as the app changes. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date above will always reflect the most recent version.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
