Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how PDF Maker: Image to PDF ("the app") handles information. The app is developed by Apptriq. If you have questions about this policy, contact apptriq.support@gmail.com.
1. No account required
The app does not require you to create an account or sign in. There is no server or backend operated by the developer — the app works entirely on your device.
2. Information stored on your device
The app stores the following locally, on your device only:
- The PDFs and images you create, import, or scan, and basic details about them (file name, size, page count, date created/opened, whether you've starred it).
- Your app preferences (theme, default page size/orientation/margin/quality for new PDFs, selected language).
None of this is transmitted to the developer or to any server. It stays on your device and is removed automatically if you uninstall the app. Removing a file from the app's Files list only removes it from that list — the underlying file itself is left untouched, since the app never owns or copies your files without your explicit action.
3. Camera permission
The app requests camera access only when you tap "Scan Document," and only at that moment. Camera access is never requested at launch or used in the background. Scanned pages are processed on your device to improve their appearance before being added to your PDF.
4. Advertising
The app shows ads (via Google AdMob) to free ("Basic" tier) users. Ads are never shown to Premium subscribers. To deliver and measure ads, Google's AdMob software development kit may collect and use your device's advertising identifier and related ad-measurement data, in line with Google's own privacy practices. This is Google's data collection, governed by Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
The app also uses Google's ML Kit Document Scanner (a Google Play services component) to power the in-app scanner. This runs as part of Google Play services, which has its own privacy practices, described at: https://policies.google.com/privacy
5. Children's privacy
This app is not directed at children under 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through this app, contact apptriq.support@gmail.com and it will be addressed.
6. Data deletion
Because the app has no server or account system, there is no remote copy of your data to delete. Uninstalling the app removes everything the app itself stored. For advertising identifier data already collected by Google, see Google's own privacy controls at https://myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy
7. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the app changes. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy. The "Last updated" date above will always reflect the most recent version.
