PDF Candye ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application.

2. Offline Processing

PDF Candye performs all PDF actions locally on your device. Your PDF files are never uploaded to external servers or shared without your consent. All editing, merging, splitting, compression, conversion, and other operations happen entirely on your device.

3. Data Collection and Analytics

PDF Candye uses Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics to help us improve the app. This includes information such as app version, device model, Android version, and feature usage patterns.We do NOT collect any personal information, PDF file content, file names, or any data that can identify you personally. All analytics data is anonymized and aggregated.You can disable analytics collection in the app settings at any time. The app's core functionality does not require internet connectivity and works completely offline.

4. File Access

The app requests access only to the documents you explicitly select through the system file picker. These permissions allow the app to open, view, edit, or export files that you choose.You can revoke access at any time from Android system settings. Once revoked, PDF Candye will lose the ability to open previously selected files until you grant permission again.

5. Temporary Data

Temporary working copies may be created in the app's local cache while editing or converting documents. These temporary files are automatically cleaned when operations finish or when the app is closed.No temporary files are stored permanently, and all cache data can be cleared from the app settings.

6. No Advertising

PDF Candye does not display any advertisements. We do not use Google AdMob, Facebook Ads, or any other advertising networks. The app is completely ad-free.

7. Third-Party Services

PDF Candye uses Firebase Analytics (provided by Google) for anonymous usage analytics. This service collects anonymized usage data to help us understand how the app is used and improve its features.Firebase Analytics does not have access to your PDF files, file names, or any personal content. All data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify you.Your PDF files and content remain completely private and are never shared with third parties. Only anonymized usage statistics are transmitted to Firebase.

8. Exports and Storage

Processed files are saved to the folder you choose (Downloads or Documents). The app maintains a recent files list on-device to help you reopen your latest outputs quickly.This recent files list is stored locally on your device and is never synced or uploaded anywhere.

9. Security

Because all files remain on your device, you are responsible for securing your phone or tablet. We recommend using device encryption and screen locks to protect sensitive PDFs.PDF Candye does not have access to your files unless you explicitly grant permission through the system file picker.

10. Children's Privacy

PDF Candye does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The anonymized analytics data we collect does not include any personally identifiable information and is safe for users of all ages.If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

11. Data Retention and Deletion

Analytics data collected by Firebase Analytics is retained according to Google's data retention policies (typically up to 14 months). You can request deletion of your data by contacting us.Local app data (recent files list, preferences) is stored on your device and can be cleared at any time through the app settings or by uninstalling the app.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the app, and we encourage you to review this policy periodically.
