WICED Sense

GUI

Summary

The WICED Sense Bluetooth Low-Energy device has a number of sensors: gyroscope, acclerometer, eCompass, pressure, humidity and temperature, and is powered either by a CR2032 battery or by USB power supply. The latter is used here for prolonged measurement of Temperature, Pressure and Humidity. However because of a fault in the sensor software humidity measurements are only valid when the sensor is first powered up, readings thereafter are not refreshed. Sensor values are monitored using a Raspberry Pi Zero W via bluetooth using Node Red as the GUI interface. The Sensor data is saved at regular intervals to Google Sheets via a Google Form. The graphical output of the data is displayed on Charts in Sheets which is viewable on the Web in a Google Sites Webpage: Home .

(By using PIVPN and OpenVPN it is also possible for me to log on to the GUI outside my local network.)
