Workshops are sessions dedicated to actively engaging participants in different and novel types of activities and themes. Workshop submissions will include sessions that actively engage participants in activities around (e.g., problem definition, small discussion groups, mapping themes, do-it-yourself, hands-on group work, etc.). Workshop topics can respond to any area of interest of PD (e.g., theoretical reflections, methodologies, practices, etc.).
For PDC Place India, workshops will be in-person only.

15th July 2024 – Submission deadline (Extended)
25th July 2024 – Notification to authors (Accept or Reject) (ANNOUNCED)
All workshop organizers must register for the event.
Submissions and Review Process
Submissions will be reviewed for applicability to the conference by the PDC Place India Team using the following criteria
Relevance of the workshop topic to PD and the conference theme
Interactivity of the format
Potential to draw a variety of participants
Relevance to PDC Places audience
Proposal Structure
Please structure your proposal so that it includes:
Names of organizers and affiliations
Workshop title and goals
Proposed format, methods or techniques used to structure the workshop
How participants will contribute
Relevance to PD and/or conference theme
Importance of running the workshop at PDC
Expertise of the organizers in delivering the workshop
Estimated Workshop Duration
Estimated Number of Participants Engaged
Planned outcomes / outputs of the session (e.g., journal publication, research proposal, future collaborations, exhibition)
Any specific equipment and set-up required for the workshop.
Submissions should be written in English and include no more than 100 words in each sub-topic.
Accepted workshop proposals will be invited to conduct their workshop in a selected slot during PDC Place India.
