ISPRS WG II/8 International Workshop 

“Photogrammetric Data Analysis” – PDA24

Photogrammetric techniques for data acquisition and processing serves as a solid basis for wide range of geospatial and multidisciplinary applications. Nowadays impressive progress in sensors, computers and methods of data processing creates a background for making step forward from data processing to data analysis and understanding.

The ISPRS International Workshop “Photogrammetric Data Analysis” is intended to offer presentations and discussions platform for sharing novel ideas, approaches, methods and achievements in photogrammetric data analysis. 

This workshop takes its origin from the successful row of ISPRS PSBB workshops. The PDA24 workshop is organized by ISPRS Working Group II/8,  the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT, Russia) and Moscow University of Geodesy and Cartography (MIIGAiK, Moscow).

We invite researchers to submit the original contributions, as well as demonstrations of successful applications in accordance with (but not limited to) the following technical areas:

The Workshop topics:

• implicit Information retrieving from photogrammetric data

• machine learning in photogrammetric data analysis

• multimodal photogrammetric data processing and analysis

• data analysis for environmental and infrastructure monitoring 

• change detection and analysis 

• image semantic segmentation and vectorization

• image analysis and classification

• multi-scale and time-series analysis

• photogrammetric data analysis for cultural heritage

• data fusion, representation and visualization

• virtual, augmented and extended reality

• data retrieving and data recovering   

Important Dates:

Submission due date: June 23, 2024

Authors notification: July 15, 2024 July 22, 2024

Camera ready paper due date: August 15, 2024 August 22, 2024

Workshop dates: October, 07-09, 2024

Paper submission:

We accept two types of the submissions:

1. Extended abstracts. The accepted submissions of this type will be published in ISPRS Archives.

2. Full papers. The accepted submissions of this type will be published in ISPRS Annals.

Both types of publications are listed in the ISI Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI) of the Web of Science, SCOPUS, the E/I Compendex, and the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).

Registration fee is 120 euro, 80 euro for students and PhD students .

Workshop format: 

To provide wide possibilities for participation, ISPRS PDA24 workshop will be organized as a hybrid event, including onsite sessions and virtual sessions. Participants, who cannot present their paper in-person, will have possibility to give the presentation online. Working language of the workshop is English.
