Call for Papers and Participants

The Philippine Consortium for Science, Mathematics and Technology, Inc. (PCSMT) is once again holding the National Research Congress to showcase the scholarly works of faculty researchers of its member institutions in the areas of science, mathematics, and technology. The Congress serves as a venue to disseminate the research activities and efforts of the PCSMT member agencies (Download Call for Papers). It also aims to recognize excellent research works in various fields. This year, the Consortium also welcomes participation of interested faculty members from non-member institutions. ABSTRACTS are called for pure and applied researches in the following disciplines:

• Biology
• Chemistry
• Physics
• Mathematics
• Technology

Important Dates

• Deadline of Abstract Submission: July 5, 2019 *CLOSED*
• Notice of Acceptance (NOA): CLOSED
• Deadline of Registration: August 12, 2019. Register HERE
• Submission of Printed Full Paper (3 copies): August 28, 2019 (upon Registration)

Abstract Submission

Abstract should not be more than 250 words and must capture the purpose, procedure and findings of the study. It must contain five (5) keywords arranged alphabetically. It will undergo review before acceptance. The deadline of submission is extended on July 5, 2019. Click this link to Submit your Abstract.

Full Paper Submission

Upon receiving the notice of acceptance, please prepare three (3) hard copies of the full paper following this Full Paper Format. Submit these to the Secretariat upon Registration on August 28, 2019.

Mechanics & Awards

Each presenter is given 20 minutes (15 mins presentation and 5 mins Q&A) to present the paper before a panel of evaluators during the parallel session. Winners for Best Paper in each category will be awarded certificate of recognition.

Registration

Registration fee:

• PCSMT Member: Php 5,500.00
• Non-Member: Php 6,000.00
• Additional Paper: Php 1,500.00/paper

The fee is inclusive of conference kit, book of abstracts, fellowship dinner (1^st day), refreshments and lunch for 3 days, certificates, access to all paper presentations and a tour package exclusive of entrance fees on August 30. Payment

A pre-registration fee of Php 1,500.00 shall be required of all interested presenters who cannot pay in advance the full fee which shall be deposited in the PCSMT Account on or before August 12, 2019. The remainder can be paid upon registration on August 28.

Once payment is made, a digital or scanned copy of the deposit slip should be immediately sent to pcsmt2019@gmail.com. Also, please notify the Consortium Treasurer at 0948-5505189. Official receipts will be issued during the Congress, only upon presentation of the original copy of the deposit slip.
