As we have lost a few of our volunteers over the past 18 months, we have a need for additional volunteers to assist us in serving our community for a few hours each month, even if it's on a limited basis. If you or anyone you know is interested or has questions about any volunteer position, please call Marsha at 503-863-0898 or speak to our volunteers when you come to our events.
REGULARLY RECURRING EVENTS
MONTHLY COMMUNITY BREAKFAST – Served on the first Sunday of every month from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM. This is, by far, the best breakfast deal anywhere. Only $9.00 - adults or $4.50 - kids under 12.
SALMON RIVER GARDEN CLUB – Meets on the 2nd Friday of every month. If you are interested in any aspect of gardening or horticulture, come by and meet our knowledgeable members.
COMMUNITY INFORMATION:
ATTENTION SENIORS: The Lincoln City Senior Center, located in the Lincoln City Community Center, is open and offers a great place to meet others and enjoy friendly conversation, card games, Rummikub, mahjong, jigsaw puzzles, pool, crafts, good food, occasional expeditions to interesting destinations, and much more. Currently, they are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM until 7:00 PM and on Saturday until 4:00 PM.. Drop by and check them out. Guests, age 55 or older, are always welcome.
We have obtained an extensive list (large notebook) of Federal, State, County, and local government and private services for seniors and others. Please feel free to inquire should you or someone you know need assistance. Send an email to marex@centurylink.net. Someone will get back to you as soon as possible. The list may be viewed at any time our center is open.
Your Community Center is available for your private special event(s). For details and reservations, call Lori at 541-992-2777 or email marex@centurylink.net.
When visiting your Community Center, please stop by and check out our gift shop. We have a changing and seasonal inventory of beautiful and eclectic items and newly donated books, and many other gift and craft items at extremely low prices. Donations of saleable goods are gratefully received. We cannot accept clothing or large appliances/furniture due to a lack of space. We are an IRS (501c3) non-profit organization and can provide a receipt for your donations.
If you know someone who would enjoy our events, benefit from our services, or would like to volunteer but does not have an email address, please print this out for them. Spread the word! This is YOUR community center.

NOTE: Our legal name is Panther Creek Senior and Community Center. We serve ALL areas, including Panther Creek, Echo Mountain, Rose Lodge, Depoe Bay, Neskowin, Albania, Netarts, all of Otis, and Lincoln City, etc. There are no boundaries and no membership fees or requirements. Everyone is ALWAYS welcome at any of our events, regardless of where they may reside. We are NOT strictly a senior center. Our goal is to serve everyone.
