BOBBY CORPUS


Bobby is a Quantum Computing Evangelist. He is president of OneQuantum Philippines, a chapter of OneQuantum, a global community on Quantum Technologies. He is a Technical Architect at Section6, New Zealand, and was the Innovation Lead at the Enterprise Data Office at Globe Telecoms. He was a Solution Architect at Red Hat and a Vice President and Lead Solution architect in Deutsche Bank AG, Singapore.

He graduated cum laude in Physics from the National Institute of Physics where he studied the Topology and Causality of Spacetime. His interest in Quantum Computing comes from his training in Physics and Computer Science.

He organized Quantum Computing Philippines in 2017 to promote awareness of Filipinos to Quantum Computing. His group was recognized by OneQuantum global community and was assimilated into the group as OneQuantum Philippines, where he serves as the current president. He is currently a board member of the DOST-PCIEERD Quantum Technology Board.

JUL JON GENERAL


Jon is a Quantum Computing scientist. He is one of the researchers for the Quantum Circuit Simulator project at DOST-ASTI. He also worked as an IoT engineer at ASTI for the Gul.AI project. He taught Information Technology at the Quezon City University from 2020-21.

He finished his BS in Computer Engineering at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines in 2016. He is currently doing his MS in Computer Science at the University of the Philippines Diliman. He studies quantum computing under the Algorithms and Complexity Lab of the Department of Computer Science with a focus in quantum circuit simulation.


ROSS ROMUEL MARIANO


Ross is currently a Science Research Specialist for the Quantum Circuit Simulation (QCS) Project at DOST-Advanced Science and Technology Institute, specifically working on the tensor networks approach. Previously, he worked as an online freelancer creating manuals for various mathematics subjects, junior physicist at a geological surveying company, and has also interned at DOST-Philippine Nuclear Research Institute.

He graduated from the University of the Philippines Los Baños under the degree program of BS Applied Physics, Major in Computational Physics. He plans to pursue higher education in mathematics in the future.
