We welcome position pieces in the submission format of participants’ choosing (e.g., paper, poem, art work, demo, pictorial). There are no specific guidelines as to the format of the submission; it is open-ended and should fit with the content of the submission. The submission will be merely a statement of interest to participateand a talking point for discussion, and will not be presented during the workshop itself. The main goal of the workshop will be to discuss and design AI systems that subvert the current trend on productivity in favor of other diverse and important goals such as creativity, humor, connection, and playfulness. We expect submissions and discussions during the workshop to cover the following non-exhaustive list of themes:
Silly, absurdist or provocative AI systems/applications
Counter-productive or anti-capitalist AI systems
Critiques of current AI trends
Reflections over the use of AI in the workplace
Playful AI
Human-AI playful interactions
AI systems that foster creativity, humor, or other capabilities rather than productiveness.
Since of course the range of what can be considered anti-capitalist is broad, thus we will accept *any* submission in-line with the theme of this workshop, and not only those outlined above.
Submissions should be emailed to one of the conference organizers on or before the date listed on the website to be considered for participation in the workshop.
