His research interests include the field of advanced control system design for electric machine drives, distributed generation systems using renewable energy sources, uninterruptible power supplies, electromagnetic actuator systems, and targeted drug delivery systems. He received the B.Sc and M.Sc degrees in electrical engineering from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Hanoi, Vietnam, in 2007 and 2009, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the Division of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Dongguk University, Seoul, Korea, in 2014. From 2008 to 2009, he worked at the Division of Electrical Engineering, Thuy Loi University, Hanoi, as a Lecturer. He was at the Division of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Dongguk University, as a postdoctoral researcher in 2014. Before joining Nazarbayev University, he was also a senior researcher at the Pioneer Research Center for Controlling Dementia by Converging Technology, Gyeongsang National University, Jinju, South Korea since May 2014 to August 2015. Dr. Do received the best paper award from Dongguk University in 2014. He has been a member of IEEE since 2012. He has been an associate editor of IEEE Access since April 2017. He is also the Lead Guess Editor of Mathematical Problems in Engineering for the special issue: “Advanced Control Methods for Systems with Fast-Varying Disturbances and Applications”.

Bayandy Sarsembayev

Bayandy Sarsembayev received specialist in Railway Automation and Control from Kazakh Academy of Transport and Communications, Almaty, Kazakhstan, in 2000, MSc degree in Systems and Control Engineering from City University London, London, UK, in 2015.
From June 2000 to December 2000, he was with Kazakhstan National Railway Company as railway worker in Signals’ systems, Karagandy, Kazakhstan. From 2001 to 2007, he was with Kazakh Academy of Transport and Communications as teaching staff in Transport Studies, Almaty, Kazakhstan. From 2008 to 2012, he was with L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University as teaching staff in Transport Studies, Astana, Kazakhstan. Since May, 2015 he is candidate for PhD in Electrical Engineering and Electronics Research, Brunel University London, UK. Since July, 2017 he is Research Assistant in Department of Robotics and Mechatronics, Nazarbayev University, Astana.
As RA in Department Robotics and Mechatronics, he investigates control techniques and methods and applies them to Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor. He implements experiments in Matlab/Simulink environment. Research interests include but not limited: Vector Control (Field-Oriented Control), Observer design for disturbance estimation, Sliding Mode Control (SMC) etc.


Zholtayev Darkhan

He received bachelor degree of mathematics in 2014, Kazakh National University named After Al-farabi. Earned Ms degree of reservoir engineer in 2016 in Univercite de Lorraine, Nancy, France and Ms degree of mathematical science in 2017 in Kazakh National University named After Al-farabi by double diploma program.
From 2016 March to October have had internship in the laboratory LRGP-CNRS-ENSIC with subject hydrodinamic rotating filtration in Univercite de Lorraine, Nancy, France. From March 2017 to April 2018 worked in oil and gas project company "Design Institute Optimum" as resevoir engineer. Built 3D hydrodinamic and geologycal model of the oil and ges reservoir in the Petrel program.
Since 2018 June he is research assistant in Nazarbayev University on Power Electronics and Control Methods for Renewable Energy Power Conversion System. Implementing Model Predictive Control, Sliding Mode Control to Power Converters. Models it in programs as Matlab/ Simulink.

Officially procured equipment for the university laboratories and research needs, formed of technical specification of the goods and development of drafts and concluding of contracts for purchases of goods. Since August 2018 Research Assistant in Nazarbayev University Astana, Kazakhstan. Conduct a research in a Control Theory Field.
