However I am unable to find this driver for my Intel NUC NUC6I7KYK. I've checked the link at: But the Intel NUC NUC6I7KYK is not in the valid products list. I'm not sure why there are windows 7 drivers for everything else on the NUC6I7KYK except the PCI Simple Communications Controller. If anyone could point me to a link to download this driver I would be very appreciated. Thank you.

Perhaps I shoulda looked at this thread first.

Upgrade because I couldn't get 98 to recognise my Digital Camera on the USB ports.

Now that works fine with W2K but surprise surprise the effin' modem won't work.

I have a Via Technologies mobo and an internal Askey Comp Corp PCI modem

It was previously working fine with the standard Conexant drivers on 98 but neither these or the 'Pucker' ones downloaded from Askey seem to work with W2K.

What in heavens name is the PCI Simple Communications Controller and what does it do?

Theres a pint in it for anyone with the correct annswer.

This started when I found out this used hp dc 7700 has a radeon x1300 in it that didn't have the right driver. I don't remember the order I did everything in but now my device manager doesnt even show anything about a display adapter OR anything about a pci simple communications controller. I think after I installed ATI's software my display adapter section disapeared then I noticed a flag by the pci simple communications controller. I read something that lead me to believe something from intels site could get rid of the flag and maybe let me see my graphics card (HECI_allOS_2.1.22.1033_PV) but I think it just took away the pci part. I can't find anything that supports my pc either because it's windows 10 or it may not have the requirements. Before the pci simple communications controller disapeared it had a yellow flag next to it but I do still have its vendor and developer number. Hi, I have a solution. If you go in device manager, click on the pci simple communications controller, go in property and then go in details. You will see a code like per example PCI/VEN_8086&DEV_27D8&SUBSYS...

In my case the pci simple communications controller was a Microsoft UAA Bus HD audio. I also had another pci device that didn't work properly, using the same method I found out that my pci device was an HSF PCI internal modem with code number CX11252-11. I had a hard time downloading one of the drivers, after 6 or 7 times the download started so be patient if you have the same hardware.
