Pine Children's Early Learning Center
Pine Children's Early Learning Center, a licensed child care center located on the PTCC campus, is available to the public and especially convenient for PTCC students and staff. PCELC provides preschool programming for children 16 months-5 years (or the first day of Kindergarten). In addition, we have wrap around childcare services to meet the needs of families with parents who are working or going to school. Our school age program consists of a full time Summer Program, as well as, opportunities for before/after school and non school days throughout the year. The health and safety of our environment is a priority. Classrooms are filled with age appropriate, engaging learning activities throughout the day. Our Educated Staff have degrees in Early Childhood or are in the process of obtaining education in Early Childhood Education. We partner with PTCC Early Childhood and Nursing programs to give students hands-on experiences with planning & implementing age appropriate activities and observing children to learn more about development. To help families lower costs we accept funding from the Early Learning Scholarship programs through our Parent Aware Rating, Child Care Grants through PTCC for students at college, County assistance funding and enhancement funds from Head Start first help pay tuition when a child is dual enrolled.
