Welcome to the PCC Website!

The Psychology Connections Committee (PCC) is a graduate-student led organization founded in the Psychology Department at the University of Massachusetts Boston. We are committed to providing resources for undergraduate students interested in majoring in psychology, as well as matching them with graduate student mentors at UMB. Mentors can assist mentees with a variety of topics that may include, but are not limited to:

• • • Psychology coursework (homework help, exam prep, academic writing)

    • Graduate school (types of programs, application process, lived experience of a graduate student, what to expect, how to prepare)

    • Careers in psychology (types of jobs psychologists can have, summer research assistant jobs, application process, job seeking, research jobs on campus)

    • Professional development (mock interviews, help with resume/CV, editing cover letters, drafting emails)
