What is Upward Bound Program ?

The Upward Bound Program seeks to increase the potential success of it's high school participants in both secondary and post-secondary education.

The Upward Bound program is operated year-round which encompasses three sessions Fall, Spring, and Summer.

The program is designed for selected Passaic High School students in grades 9th-12th. Eligible students are selected based upon criteria established by the United States Department of Education.

Duration

10-Week program with a weekly commitment of 8 hours per week; meeting Monday and Wednesday and Saturdays.

Online

Classes take place in Google Suite for Education using a combination of live video instruction and small group activities.

Assignments

Self-paced projects and individual explorations are assigned. Virtual field trips and experiences are offered and students are expected to participate.
