Associate of Liberal Arts (AA). The following degree requirements are designed for students who wish to transfer to ASU School of Social Work for their Bachelor in Social Work (BSW). ASU has a campus in Tucson where most PCC students attend, but this sequence will also work for their other campus locations. Students should closely follow this sequence since ASU has specific requirements that are not found in Pima's general AA degree. Students will need about 60-62 credits to transfer.

The AAS Degree is for students who are not planning to transfer to a Bachelor in Social Work (BSW) program. Although there are some limited transfer options (e.g., to the UA Human Services Bachelor of Applied Science), the AAS degree is primarily intended for direct employment.
