About Us

The Patient Care & Blood Donation Society (PCBD) is a registered student society of Sargodha Medical College. The society works to support patients through organized blood donation drives, welfare initiatives, and community health activities.

PCBD is a non-profit, student-led organization dedicated to the noble cause of saving lives through voluntary blood donation. Founded with the vision of ensuring that no patient suffers or loses their life due to the unavailability of blood, the Society has grown into a well-recognized platform for healthcare service, welfare activities, and community engagement. At its core, PCBD is committed to promoting safe, regular, and voluntary blood donation. Through well-coordinated blood drives, awareness campaigns, and donor recruitment programs, the Society bridges the gap between patients in need and generous individuals willing to donate. Each unit of blood collected represents not just a number, but a lifeline for patients undergoing surgeries, battling life-threatening diseases, or facing medical emergencies. Beyond blood donation, PCBD extends its services to broader healthcare and welfare initiatives. We conduct medical camps, free health screenings, and awareness sessions on pressing health issues to educate and empower communities. Our welfare projects further support underprivileged individuals by addressing their basic health and humanitarian needs, thereby broadening the scope of our impact. The strength of PCBD lies in its dynamic leadership and dedicated volunteer network. With the guidance of our Patron-in-Chief, Chairperson, and Executive Team, and the tireless efforts of student leaders and volunteers, we have been able to establish a strong tradition of service. This collective spirit drives our initiatives and ensures that every campaign, whether large or small, reflects our core values of compassion, integrity, and responsibility. Over the years, the Society has achieved significant milestones, from organizing large-scale blood donation camps and collaborating with hospitals to initiating impactful healthcare and welfare projects. These achievements stand as a testament to the commitment and sincerity of our team. Yet, we believe our journey has only just begun. As we look ahead, PCBDremains dedicated to expanding its reach, strengthening its donor base, and diversifying its services to address emerging health and social needs. With the unwavering support of our members, donors, and partners, we aspire to create a healthier, more caring society where every drop of blood donated and every act of service brings hope and life to those in need.

Institutional Affiliation 

PCBD operates under the administration of Sargodha Medical College. All activities are conducted in accordance with institutional guidelines and ethical standards.
