The vision of the Department of Electronics is to create the student equipped with all the essential resource knowledge for tomorrow’s needs. Our aim is to provide all the educational facilities for training bright students for the future and to enrich the students with recent developments and cutting-edge technology in electronics industry. 

Scope/Need of Electronics

Increase in operational excellence is giving pus for automation leading to heavy demand for electronics in every core sector - agriculture, transport, medical, infrastructure and many more. Industry 4.0 is on the horizon. Emerging technologies pushing for seamless connectivity - IoT, 5G, Virtual and Augmented reality. Smarter systems and effective utilization of data is the need of the hour - Big data, Analytics, Machine Learning, Data Mining, High performance computing is expected to push the demand for high performance and intelligent systems in the coming years. This trend is pushing rapid growth in the semiconductor and Electronics System Design Manufacturing sector across the globe. 

The global electronics industry in the world and is expected to reach $1.653.2 billion in 2025. Electronics System Design Manufacturing in India is poised for growth of $400 billion in next decade!!!
