Congratulations to our Spring 2022 Perimeter College Graduates!

ISSS congratulates all graduates on successfully attaining your Associate’s degree from Perimeter College! We are proud of you and wish you the best.

Congratulations also to all international students on completing the spring 2022 semester! We wish you all a safe and relaxing summer. To those returning, see you again soon!

Travel Requirements

If your current travel signature is more than 6 months old, remember to have your form I-20 or DS-2019 signed before you depart the U.S for travel. Your I-20 will be digitally endorsed and emailed to your GSU student email. Note also that there are still international travel restrictions in place.

For details on this requirement and request process,

For J-1 students, please click >> HERE <<

For F-1 students, please click >> HERE <<

Tip: Don’t wait until the last minute!
All requests in iStart take 3-5 days to process.

It is very important to continue monitoring the CDC website, U.S. Department of State’s travel advisories, the ISSS website, and Georgia State Resources for up-to-date information regarding travel to the U.S. and campus. Some countries have restrictions, and there are restrictions for entry into the U.S., so we highly recommend that you check the above resources on a regular basis and/or speak to the airline you plan to use before flying. GSU is offering free saliva-based testing to all students, faculty and staff at the downtown campus and perimeter campuses: https://covidinfo.gsu.edu/covid-19-resources/covid-19-testing/.

Summer 2022 class registration and Fall 2022 class registration are now open!

Here’s are some quick reminders for F-1 student about registration requirements:

• Continuing students: no enrollment required, and part-time is permitted.

• New students: 6 credit hours required if summer is your 1st semester.

• Change of Status: 6 credit hours required if your change of status was approved after spring semester registration closed.

FALL & SPRING:

• F-1 students must enroll in a minimum of 12 credit hours; • Only one on-line course (3 credit hours) may count towards full-time enrollment each semester.

Post Completion Optional Practical Training (OPT) is a benefit that allows temporary employment directly related to an F-1 student's major area of study upon program completion. OPT at the Associate degree level is for a period of 12 months maximum. For more information about OPT and to access the on-line OPT Workshop, click here

Students graduating at the end of spring 2020 who are interested in applying for OPT should first complete the on-line OPT workshop. The next step is to contact ISSS to schedule an OPT appointment to review the application process during advising hours. For an OPT appointment, please call 678-891-3235:
