Thank you for serving as your congregational delegate to Josephine.

- Prayer for Josephine’s future, mission & vision, residents, children, caregivers, and staff.
- Participation in Josephine’s annual corporation meeting and identification and election of Josephine’s Board of Directors.
- Learning about Josephine, especially through our quarterly delegate gatherings.
- Involvement in educating your congregation about Josephine’s mission and ministry through bulletin inserts, bulletin boards, monthly newsletters, temple talks, adult forums, etc.
- Arranging for a Josephine Sunday visit from Chaplain Andy to provide focused prayer and learning about Josephine, along with a chance for us to express our thanks for your support.
- Raising awareness in your congregation of volunteer opportunities at Josephine, such helping with outings, one-on-one visiting or reading, being a gift shop clerk, providing music, inviting friends to Josephine’s communitywide events throughout the year, etc.
- Referral of those whose lives could benefit from Josephine’s services – nursing care, rehabilitation, memory care, assisted living, childcare, home health, etc.
- Encouraging your congregation to make Josephine a part of your congregation’s Social and Benevolence Ministry—as well as the many ways congregational members can contribute financially in support of Josephine’s life-affirming programs and services.

- Provide monthly updates through the Sunshine Times (newsletter) or direct email to keep you informed of volunteer opportunities and upcoming events.
- Provide staff to speak about Josephine Caring Community and its mission and vision.
- Provide staff to speak on special topics to your congregation such as spirituality, aging, dementia, chronic conditions of aging, loneliness, intergeneration ministry, etc.
- Support your Care Team ministry through education forums, leaders’ gatherings, and visits with your team and leaders.
