The fire originated from a malfunctioning fuel tank, and witnesses reported that the flames rapidly spread around 5 PM, engulfing most of the building in an instant. The situation on-site was extremely urgent, with the scale and speed of the fire putting immense pressure on everyone involved.
In response to this disaster, the Perak Fire and Rescue Department collaborated urgently with the volunteer fire brigade to tackle the blaze. As a volunteer team, they are not professional firefighters, yet they displayed unparalleled courage and teamwork.
