Pro Bono Students Canada (PBSC) envisions a society with accessible legal systems, where the dignity and rights of every person are upheld. Our mission is to provide free legal support to people and communities facing legal barriers to justice. We do this by engaging approximately 1,450 law students annually across 22 law schools to support community organizations, under the supervision of lawyers.
PBSC projects fall into three main categories: Research, Client Services, and Public Legal Education. This site provides brief descriptions of the projects you can apply for.

Our Values
We believe that every person is entitled to respect, to have their voice heard, and to fully enjoy their rights.
We stand for substantive equality, inclusion, and diversity in all its forms. We focus on impact (not just good intentions).
We value the wisdom of the communities we serve, and their lived experiences inform our work.
PBSC students work in partnership with community organizations. The PBSC Lincoln Alexander School of Law Chapter does not provide direct legal advice or representation. If you require legal advice or representation, please see this list of resources.
