I am an honors chemical engineering student at Arizona State University, with various experiences in the engineering and service sectors. With projects relating to sustainable chemical production using photosynthetic bacteria, to producing fungal-based bioplastics in Japan, to helping bring sustainable practices to ASU's campus, my education experience during my four years is best described as holistic.
A cornerstone of my college experience was the National Academy of Engineering's Grand Challenges Scholars Program, which allowed me to cultivate skills through various experiences that were technical, social, cultural, and entrepreneurial. This portfolio is the culmination of the Grand Challenges Experience, which has shaped me to be the globally-minded engineer I am today.
With a focus on industrial biotechnology and microbial bioprocess engineering.
