2nd PBDKC 2018

“2nd Purba Bardhaman District Karate Championship 2018 & Selection for KAB State Selection for KAI National” organised by Bardhaman Karate-Do Association held at Sri Aurobindo Stadium, Badamtala, Bardhaman on 28th October, 2018.

This is the one and only authentic, recognised, approved & official karate championship in Purba Bardhaman District.

56 karate athletes from 3 Sub-divisions took part in the 2nd edition of PBDKC.

The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Bonbehari Jash (General Secretary of Bardhaman District Volleyball & Basketball Association), Mr. Pinaki Mondal (Sports Lover) & other honourable guests. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Jash.

In the Sub-division standings, Bardhaman Sadar North again ranked first position with total 48 medals including 24 Gold followed by Katwa & Bardhaman Sadar South in second and third place with 11 Gold & 2 Gold respectively.

The karate practitioners of Purba Bardhaman Seishinkai Shito-Ryu Karate Association (AISSKF), Purba Bardhaman Police Line Free School (SEIGOKAI) & Shotokan Karate Institution (ISKF) styles participated in this PBDKC season to test their abilities in Kata, Kumite & Team Kata events in different age and weight categories.

This championship is completed successfully under the guidance of KAB President Hanshi Premjit Sen and KAB General Secretary Shihan Joydeb Mondal & under the leadership of BKA President Mr. Kamal Chandra Ghosh and BKA General Secretary Shihan Debasis Kumar Mondal.
