Taking place annually, the Purba Bardhaman District Karate Championship sees the best players of 4 sub-divisions compete against each other for the prize and the chance to qualify for the State Karate Championship.District is the primary gateway to play in the Official, Recognised, Approved and Authentic state, zonal, national and international karate championships. PBDKC unites fans around the passion and love for the game and creates a platform for the district karate athletes to showcase the sporting excellence and budo spirit.

Dear Karate Lovers,

On behalf of BKA, I would like to take the opportunity to welcome you to the Official Website of "Purba Bardhaman District Karate Championships". The Karate-Do Association of Bengal Approved official district karate championship in Purba Bardhaman (PBDKC) has been organised annually by Bardhaman Karate-Do Association since the birth of Purba Bardhaman District in 2017.

Every year we try to select the best players of the district & try to improve the standard of the district karate tournament. This is the primary platform to qualify for the official karate tournaments & the only path to create a successful karate career. Every year we look forward to meeting of quality fighters, quality coaches & fair and realistic decisions of referees, judges & officials.

PBDKC aims at becoming a platform for the development of Purba Bardhaman District karate athletes in their quest to progress in the sport & a means of promoting Karate among the people.

"Compete in District Karate Tournament; Be a District Karate Champion; Qualify for State Karate Championship." - These 3 sentences say everything about the objective of the district level karate competition.
