Meet Ms. Chrisabelle, Our Kitchen Manager 🍎

Chrisabelle serves as the Kitchen Manager at PB&Jesus Early Childhood Academy, where she helps make sure our students are nourished with meals prepared with both care and intention.

From a very early age, she showed a genuine interest in food preparation and a natural ability to create in the kitchen. As she has grown, those gifts have been strengthened through hands-on experience, training, and an understanding of the importance of nutrition and food safety in an early childhood setting.

In her role as Kitchen Manager, Chrisabelle assists with creating menus our little learners can enjoy, preparing our CACFP-approved meals, and maintaining an organized and sanitary kitchen. Her attention to detail, creativity, and natural comfort in the kitchen have allowed her to transition seamlessly into this role.

Outside of our academy, Chrisabelle is a sophomore at Olathe South High School. As she continues exploring her passion for cooking, she plans to apply to the Culinary Arts Academy offered through Olathe Public Schools. Upon acceptance, she will have the opportunity to continue developing her culinary knowledge and skills through specialized education and hands-on training while completing high school.

What makes this journey especially exciting is that her role at PB&Jesus allows her to begin putting those interests into practice now. She is gaining real-world experience in meal preparation, menu planning, nutrition, food safety, sanitation, organization, and the responsibility that comes with helping operate a working kitchen. We look forward to watching her combine her natural gifts with formal culinary education as she continues to grow.

Meet Mr. Christian, Our Health & Sanitation Manager 🧼

Christian serves as the Health & Sanitation Manager at PB&Jesus Early Childhood Academy, helping us maintain the clean, healthy, and welcoming environment our students deserve.

His work happens largely behind the scenes, but it plays an important role in the day-to-day operation of our program. Christian helps ensure classrooms, common areas, frequently touched surfaces, and other spaces are properly cleaned and sanitized so that our students can learn, play, eat, and grow in an environment that is cared for intentionally.

Outside of our academy, Christian is a freshman at Olathe East High School, where he is a member of the Civic Leadership Academy. Through the academy, he has the opportunity to further develop his leadership skills while learning about civic engagement, service, responsibility, and the importance of making a positive impact within his community.

His role at PB&Jesus gives him an opportunity to put many of those same principles into practice. Through his work, Christian is learning that leadership isn't always about being the person out front—it can also look like being dependable, taking ownership of an important responsibility, serving others, and doing the work necessary to help an entire organization operate successfully.

One of the things we value at PB&Jesus is giving our children opportunities to discover their strengths while learning how their gifts, time, and talents can be used to serve others. Christian's role is a wonderful example of how work that isn't always seen can still have a tremendous impact.

We are proud to have Mr. Christian helping us keep PB&Jesus clean, safe, and ready for our little learners each day, while gaining meaningful experience that complements the young leader he is becoming.
