About Me

Hi, I’m Payo —a passionate music educator with over 25 years of experience teaching piano, trumpet, saxophone, and more. I’ve had the joy of teaching students of all ages, including my own three children, all of whom are musicians themselves.

My journey began in the Bay Area and continued through formal music studies at San José State University, where I earned a degree in Business Administration with a minor in Music. I’m currently completing my MBA at Chico State, where I also stay active in the music community through the university’s bands.

Over the years, I’ve led music programs in schools and churches, and I love helping students discover confidence and creativity through music. Whether you're a beginner or looking to build on your skills, I’m here to help you grow musically in a fun and encouraging environment.
