I am an Assistant Professor at the School of Political Science and Economics, Waseda University. My research examines land-based fiscal policy, corporate and innovation dynamics, and monetary policy under heterogeneity and learning, using structural DSGE and heterogeneous-agent models to study how financial and institutional systems that once enhanced stability can later become sources of fragility as economies evolve. I focus particularly on the Chinese and Japanese economies.
I received my Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Colorado Boulder. From 2022 to 2025, I served as an Assistant Professor at the School of Economics, Peking University. I am fluent in both Mandarin and Japanese.
