We were founded in October 2023, and in 2024, we were able to help spay/neuter over 600 animals within Butler County, Kansas. Our mission is to help make spay/neuter affordable for everyone and help decrease the number of animals dying in shelters because of overpopulation.
Our board members adopted a new policy starting in 2025. Paws in Oz is only able to help contribute up to 50% of services for spay/neuter and rabies per animal. We have a limit of 3 animals per clinic, but families are able to apply for additional clinics. In extreme situations, we fundraise and help those with minimal income so that they are still able to afford spay/neuter for their animals.
We partner with 2 amazing mobile vets who provide the services for us and keep all vetting records. Make sure you keep the contact information on our pet's discharge paperwork from a spay/neuter clinic, or that you have taken a picture of Dr. Regan's information from a vaccine clinic.
Dr. Bruce Veterinary Services is a mobile vet who provides care for the spay/neuter clinics, where we volunteer as helpers at the clinics we book.
