Our mission

We are Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways. This project is called Paws For a Brighter Future. Our project was to help Friends Forever Animal Rescue get information out to the public to recruit more foster families so that the shelter can assist in getting even more animals adopted and helping as many animals as possible.

How we achieved our goal

We achieved our goal by interviewing current fosters and rescue employees to get more information on fostering. With the information we got we were able to make a poster, brochure, social media posts and provide information they can add to their web page about fostering.

We went to the Friends Forever Animal Rescue

We went to the shelter for a tour and to interview the director and first foster of the rescue.

Meeting up and working

We met up at places like the library and Panera to work on the project together in person. We also met virtually to work on the project, and did some of our interviews on Google Meet.
