---### 1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Bomera Software (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use the PawChat mobile application (“App”). By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
### 2. Information the App may collect or generate
Depending on how you use the App and your device settings, the following categories may apply:
2.1 Device and app usage informationWe and our service providers may collect or receive technical and usage information such as device model, operating system version, app version, language/locale, general diagnostic data, and interactions with the App (for example, screens viewed or feature usage), where implemented.
2.2 Analytics and advertising-related identifiers The App integrates third-party SDKs that may collect identifiers and usage data for analytics, measurement, and (where applicable) advertising-related purposes. This may include Google Advertising ID (GAID) or similar identifiers as permitted by your device settings.
2.3 Subscription and purchase information If you purchase or manage a subscription through the App, Google Play and our subscription/paywall partner (RevenueCat) process transaction-related information needed to deliver entitlements. We may receive subscription status or purchase-related records through these services.
2.4 Microphone / audio (translator feature) The App may request microphone permission so you can use translation-related audio features. Audio capture is intended to be processed on your device to provide in-app functionality. We do not operate a server-based translation service in the App that uploads your voice recordings to Bomera Software for translation. Temporary audio files may be created in your device’s app storage/cache during use and are subject to normal Android cleanup behavior.
2.5 Crash and reliability data We may use Firebase Crashlytics (or similar tools) to collect crash logs and diagnostic information to improve stability.
3. Third-party services
The App relies on services whose privacy practices are governed by their own policies, including (as applicable):
- Google Firebase (for example, Analytics, Remote Config, Crashlytics) — [Google Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy) - Meta (Facebook) SDK / App Events — [Meta Privacy Policy](https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/) - TikTok for Business SDK — refer to TikTok’s privacy documentation for your region - RevenueCat — [RevenueCat Privacy Policy](https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy) - Google Play — purchases are processed by Google according to Google’s terms and privacy policy
We encourage you to review those policies to understand how those providers process information.
4. Permissions
The App may request permissions such as:
- Internet: required for online features, analytics configuration delivery, subscription validation, and related connectivity. - Microphone: required for audio-based features as described above. - Vibrate: used for device vibration feedback where implemented.
You can grant or revoke permissions through your Android device settings; revoking permissions may limit certain features.
5. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
Where applicable privacy laws require a legal basis, we rely on:
- Performance of a contract / provision of the App (delivering features you choose to use), - Legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, improving stability and product experience, analytics in line with applicable rules), and/or - Consent where required (for example, certain analytics or marketing-related technologies where consent is the appropriate basis).
6. Data retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Third-party providers retain data according to their own policies.
7. Children’s privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
8. International transfers
If you use the App outside the country where our service providers operate, your information may be transferred to and processed in other countries where those providers maintain facilities.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, or to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise applicable rights, contact us at bomerasoftwareinfo@gmail.com.
10. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy with a new effective date (and, where appropriate, provide additional notice within the App or store listing).
