Set against the rugged and unforgiving landscapes of Balochistan, Buzdil is a powerful independent feature film about fear, courage, family, revenge, and the strength hidden within those society often considers weak.
At the center of the story is Shahzaib, a young man born after years of prayers and longing. Unlike his father, a celebrated marksman and hunter, Shahzaib struggles with night blindness. His condition makes him fearful after sunset and causes his father, Akbar, to question his son's ability to carry on the family legacy.
But Shahzaib's greatest weakness eventually becomes the foundation of his greatest strength.

In a remote and turbulent region of Balochistan, Mir Salam, a feared criminal mastermind, operates a ruthless gang involved in murders, kidnappings, and other violent crimes.
When Mir Salam's brother and son are killed by an unknown enemy, his men spend years searching for those responsible. The truth, however, remains hidden.
Far from Mir Salam's world of violence, Shahzaib grows up under the shadow of his father's expectations. Akbar is an accomplished hunter and marksman who dreams of passing his skills and prized rifle to his only son.
Shahzaib desperately wants to prove that he is not a failure.
His search for a teacher leads him to Lala, one of Mir Salam's trusted henchmen. What begins as secret marksmanship training soon becomes a terrifying introduction to the criminal world. Lala forces Shahzaib to kill a captive police officer, Umair.
Shahzaib refuses.
His decision changes everything.
After confronting Lala, Shahzaib escapes and frees Umair. Injured and frightened, he runs into the wilderness, eventually finding shelter with Kareem, a kind hunter living with his family in a small village.
What Shahzaib does not know is that Kareem is connected to the mystery surrounding Mir Salam.

Three Stages of Our Production and Director ’s Role
The process for making a film occurs in three stages—pre-production,
production and post-production. While many people contribute to making a film, the director is the one person who has the greatest understanding of how all the parts, or filmmaking tasks, come together to create the final film.
The Script What is it?
The script is the story, what happens to whom and when. The script is like a blueprint, or plan, for how the story will unfold on the screen. It includes primarily the actors’ original dialogue. Who creates it? The screenwriter writes the story. Emphasize, however, that the director may make changes in the script throughout the production process
The Production Design What is it?
The production design involves creating the set where the action will occur. Who creates it? The production designer, also called the art director, oversees the design and construction of all sets, scenery, and props as well as the selection of shooting locations.
The Cast What is it?
All of the actors in the film are members of the cast. This includes those who have speaking roles and those who do not, such as the people who comprise the crowd gathered at the spaceship landing site in The Day the Earth Stood Still. Who selects it? Generally, the director selects the cast during pre-production.
Cinematography What is it?
Cinematography is a language that communicates ideas, emotions, and relationships to the audience through the use of light and shadows, objects, and people, as well as camera angles, distances, and movement. Who creates it? The cinematographer is the person who is responsible for all the camerawork on the set. When filming a scene, the director may use multiple cameras, each focusing on a different angle or player.
Acting What is it?
Acting is the action performed as well as the dialogue and emotion expressed by the characters in a movie.
Film Editing What is it?
Editing involves selecting the best shots (visual images) and arranging them in a logical sequence so that the story flows smoothly from one scene to another. Who does it? The film editor works with the director in deciding which shots and scenes to use.
Sound Editing What is it?
Sound editing involves assembling elements of the soundtrack, including dialogue and sound effects. The soundtrack must be in sync with the images on the screen. Who does it? The sound editor and/or sound-effects editor works with the film editor and the director.
