About me:

I am a Senior Research Economist at the Central Bank of Malta.

My research focuses on Macroeconomics and Labour Economics, through the lens of general equilibrium macroeconomic models with heterogeneous agents. In particular I use Heterogeneous Agents New Keynesian models with incomplete asset markets and frictional labour markets to study how fiscal policy (in particular public sector employment and public sector output) affects aggregate output, employment, and other macroeconomic outcomes.

I received my PhD from the Economics Department of the University of Essex, supervised by Alex Clymo and Andreas Mueller.Â
