Although this program limits the number of downloads you can perform per day, you can still check for outdated drivers as often as you want. You're just limited when it comes to downloading them. I talk more in the review about why this isn't as bad of a limit as it might sound.

I did install the scan driver "Windows USB Scan Driver, from Xerox's driver website, and get the scan feature working for my Xerox WorkCentre 6605 Multifunction Printer. But, instead replacing the Xerox Global Print Driver PS, under Devices and Printers, selecting the Printer (Xerox WorkCentre 6605), and under Advanced, clicking New Driver. I went to Device Manager/Imaging Devices, righ-clicked on the Printer, Xerox WC 6605 (WUA-USB), Browsed to the location of the downloaded scan driver and installed the scan driver that way. I also then went to Start on the desktop, All Programs, Xerox Office Printing, clicked on Xerox WorkCentre 6605, clicked the Express Scan Manager and set the folder for where scans go.

I purchased a Xerox WorkCentre 6605, Color Multifunction Printer, online and it did not come with a setup CD. I am using the printer at home with a USB connection to a single HP EliteBook laptop, with Windows. When setting up the printer I installed the Xerox Global Print Driver, and printing from the computer is working fine, but scanning from the printer to the computer doesn't work? I'm needing to figure out how to setup the printer to both print & scan?

As I noted, I have the same problem. I tried calling tech support, and they are trying to get me to install the printer using the IP address of the printer. However, this will not get me the newest version of the drivers. I can see the printer, so it is easy to add, but I need the new drivers to try to fix a problem with the printing. when I try to run the installer, it runs but won't ever light up the install button (just like happened to the other person above). So then they said to just call Apple. Of course Apple says it is a piece of Xerox software, and they aren't blocking installation...

I am having a bear of a time with the Windows 10 x64 driver for the Xerox VersaLink B605 MFP. I have installed both the latest from the Xerox site, and also directly from the MFP itself. Both will work, but I cannot have the user easily print to the tray they want. I have a bypass (manual feed) tray, a letter tray, and a legal tray. On our old VersaLink B405 MFP, when printing, it was easy to go into Printer Preferences and select the Tray. Now, not only do they have to do that, they have to specifiy the size everytime.

We try to install the latest driver on 3 differents Mac OS Catalina with our Xerox EC8036.

We use the current driver 5.10.0 Mac os Print and Scan TWAIN Driver, but the install button has shown are not working.

I ve used an MX860 for many years very successfully until moving to Windows10 ( apparently not supported ) and now every few months I have to re install the drivers and MP Navigator EX 2.1 to get the scanner to work.

I use the Windows 8.1 64bit install download and all works fine for a while but then for no apparent reason the scanner stops working ( from both MP Navigator and Windows Fax & Scan ) showing driver errors.

It would be nice to be able to choose individual updates, rather than have to update all 9 it is currently telling me, as I know for a fact at least 2 of them do not need updating (they are alternate Windows drivers, that my system is working perfectly well without), also if the PC doesn't work after, how do we know which of the 9 is at fault, being able to install separately is a much more logical method.

Note the Code 128 we're scanning is a SKU/SERIAL (13 digits) combined and appears with a space in-between the result which I'm hoping we could use a either their parser for GS1 to seperate and assign local variables to each result / or use something like regular expression to seperate the result since it has a space inbetween the the SERIAL SKU and assign a each to a variable using the space.

It's the very first entry in their FAQ: "Q1.When I successfully scan a barcode, why do asterisks (*) appear throughout the result?", which is the very first hit when I google "manatee works barcode scanning returns asterisks".

If you're using the app I sent earlier, the asterisks are indeed a licensing problem. I had a bug in the way I was doing the init. The latest version (the one that scans 2 codes) has the problem fixed.
