About Me

Howdy! My name is Paul. I was born and raised in north Texas, and although I love to travel and have been to most of the continental US for either work or enjoyment... I will likely always end up back here. I'm also a family man. I have a wife, three daughters (two adult / one late teen) and a 2 year old son.

I began childhood in the Sherman/Denison area about 55 miles north of the DFW metroplex before moving south with my family. I attended school, graduated from JJ Pearce High School in Richardson, and then progressed into the Computer Animation Program at the Art Institute of Dallas. I've always had two sides driving me: one a love of art and the need to create and the other a love of technology and computers. So, naturally I wanted to combine the two. After progressing in the program a ways, I discovered that I preferred the artistic side as a diversion rather than a career path so I moved move focus to a more technical scope. I've discovered that technology has an artistic side to it as well, no matter how technical the path. A job well done, and properly done is artistic in itself!

The majority of my free time is spent with my wife and son, however I also have a number of hobbies and interests that I practice off and on including, camping, travel, computer gaming, beer brewing, and Amateur Radio operation under the amateur callsign KG5RRC.
