Paul Rebenciuc - Personal Blog

I am a graduate student at the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics. I am currently studying Advances Studies in Mathematics, a 2-year master program.

Many people are saying that doing maths doesn't bring so much money/satisfaction, but I personally believe that maths is the foundation of all sciences, from physics/astronomy to economics. This is why, despite all my background (you can check out my CV below), maths was, is and will be my top priority.

I am studying pure mathematics, and I do have some research inclinations. In this site (still under construction), I will post some of my papers (in English or Romanian - my native language), which will mark the beginning of a carrer in a certain research field, hopefully. During my BSc, I was interested in commutative algebra, more specifically multiplicative ideal theory and factorization in integral domains. Now, I am studying noncommutative algebra.
