You are not born great, none of us are. To learn this, my family has taught me about the importance of an open mind. "No one is created to know everything" my father says this repeatedly. For years it has been tough for me to listen to others and admit my mistakes. I realize now that's a stupid mentality. That is the mind of someone who is truly unintelligent, reason being that if you think you know everything, you won't learn anything. Being a truly humble person doesn't also mean not realizing your ability or doubting it. It means being open to criticism to imporve while being good at that skill. This way of thinking can come in a job or hobby, moreover the greatest minds have mastered this way of thinking, because one can never learn enough about anything, there is always something to discover.
