I’m a prevention strategist and community health educator dedicated to reducing youth substance use and strengthening community resilience. In my role as Prevention Coordinator for the New England High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (NEHIDTA), I get to build bridges across coalitions, agencies, and national partners—helping identify gaps, share resources, and align prevention strategies across our region.
I earned my Master of Public Health from UMass Amherst with a focus in Community Health Education, but my dedication to service and scholarship started much earlier. As an undergrad at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, I was honored to be recognized with the Durfee Scholar Award (Hobart’s most outstanding graduate), induction into the Druid Society for leadership and character, the Keith Lawrence Prize for balancing work and extracurricular leadership, and several awards for excellence in the humanities, health, and civic engagement.
Beyond prevention and public health, I’m also a regular storyteller and performer. I was the Season 8 winner of the Best of the Valley Voices Story Slam through New England Public Media, and I’m a founding member of The Understudies, a professional comedy troupe that improvises a full musical every first Saturday of the month at the Happier Valley Comedy Theatre.
At the heart of everything I do is a simple mission: to bring people, ideas, and organizations together in ways that make communities healthier, stronger, and more resilient—while infusing authenticity, humor, and creativity into every space I enter.
