HISTORY OF PAULINA MANALO
Paulina Manalo Elementary School was created on August 1, 1976. The main campus, with an area of 1,000 sq. m. was donated to the Barrio Council of San Roque by the subdivision developer, Mrs. Petra Vda. De Ramos in 1970. The barrio council, under the leadership of barrio Captain Jesus Menguito made a resolution to put up a school on the said donated lot.
With the untiring leadership of the district supervisor, Mrs. Jesusa L. Tanyag, a school building with three classrooms was constructed with the help of barrio Captain Ricardo Pascual. As per request of the original owner of the lot, Mr. Jose Jacinto, the school was named after his deceased Mother, Paulina Manalo, hence the name Paulina Manalo Elementary School.
The Annex campus, with a three-room Bagong Lipunan Building was constructed on a lot donated to the municipal government of Pateros. It has an area of 1,000 sq. m. and is partially occupied by squatter.
