Mastering Service
The Fairchild clone (Stam Audio 670 Mk2 which is a faithful 18 tube recreation of the original circuit & is widely accepted to have earned the title of The Holy Grail of compressors) it's here in my studio & it sounds great, commissioning the mastering chain was completed Mid July 2025. The studio is offering a analogue stereo file mastering service on all styles of music, using renowned industry hardware, used at The London Abbey Road & LA's Capitol Studio’s on The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Frank Sinatra & many others...to give your record a pro finishing touch, mastering is currently priced at £50 a track < 10 mins long in 44.1 sent by https://fromsmash.com secure download link / remote file transfer of your new wave & mp3 files masters (from & to) anywhere in the world. A leading edge SSL audio interface has just been installed in the studio (Aug 25), it's a SSL 18 making the whole mastering chain very high end specification with 120db dynamic range AD / DA.
32 Channel Live / Studio Based Recording... On Hold, Not Currently Taking Bookings.
January 2026 adds the Behringer Wing Digital Mixer, & 48 channel in & out Audio Interface, to the RPPC studios. Using 2 x 16 channel Behringer SD16 digital stage boxes, I now have live 5 piece band, recording capability. The two 16 channel digital stage boxes give the studio 32 input channels shared - 16 input channels with the live drummer room / vocal booth, & 16 inputs in the main recording room. The main recording room is actually my living room, so the limitation is no longer number of channels, but is now down to the size of the room. I have plans to add an extension to the house which will mitigate this limitation, but that is not due for completion until September 2027. The studio is evolving & improving all the time. (RHCP Blood Sugar Sex Magic was recorded & produced by Rick Rubin in his house in LA, in the Summer of 1991). No drugs / strict policy of no drug taking allowed on the premises. All UK laws apply. ID Validation & approval process prior to any future booking being confirmed, other onsite terms & conditions apply. A visitor book will be maintained - required to be signed on your arrival. (Currently not taking bookings due to time limitations). ON HOLD

I am Taking Bookings For The Remote Mastering Service - Rules & Procedure... for sending over your stereo file for mastering, 1, Place your order £50/track via my Paypal by instant transfer. The PayPal E-mail address is [p.rhodes17@hotmail.com].
2, Your file should be in Wav format stereo 44.1 with no clipping during any parts. You must leave a minimum of -1 db head room of your final mixed stereo wav file. 3, E-mail me via (https://fromsmash.com) with track details, name, artist, track length in time, bar count, tempo, key (optional), any comments / special instructions, also follow the instructions on the Smash file transfer website, it's free. 4, You will create a file transfer link which will allow you to upload your wav file. (Wav is best). 5, I get a notification when you upload the stereo file to my E-mail address, I will setup a client folder on my studio Mac Pro for you, keeping all your details in one place. 6, Allow 7 days for me to complete the mastering process, it can be sooner depending on work load. 7 days is a worse case contingency period. On completion I will E-mail you a Smash file transfer secure link to download your new mastered tracks (1 mp3 & 1 wav file), the link will remain active for 7 days. The E-mail will include your official invoice attached for tax purposes. Note that my business is no longer registered to charge VAT so the cost is £50 for a track < 10 min long.
