I'm Pr. Paul Batibonak

Paul BATIBONAK is Senior Diplomat, and Senior Researcher. He is the Coordinator of the Center for Research on Diplomatic, International and Strategic Studies (CRÉDIS) of which he is the founder.

For more than a decade, he has been dealing with relations between Cameroon and the countries of Western Europe and relations between Cameroon and the European Union. Posted at the Permanent Mission of Cameroon in Geneva during twelve years to serve as trade, investment and development Officer, he was involved in the defense and promotion of the African Group's economic and commercial interests both at UNCTAD and the WTO. He was the focal point of the African Group for Trade Facilitation and Industrialization, and ACP Group Focal Point on development issues as well.

After Geneva, he served the Government in Yaounde as Director of African Affairs in the Ministry of External Affairs. He is now Associate at the University of Yaounde II, lecturing on multilateral trade policies and negotiations to Master II students. He's just been appointed Secretary General of the Evangelical University of Cameroon.

His research fields focuses comprises divine media healing; the transnationalization of medical services and globalization; medicinal plants and international law; public policies and religious freedoms; digital industrial and trade policies; industrialization and economic development in Africa.
