Paula Chatterjee

Dr. Paula Chatterjee is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a physician and health policy researcher whose work focuses on safety-net health care financing, quality, and outcomes. She has evaluated a variety of state and federal policies designed to improve care for low-income patients using methods of causal inference, and has studied the consequences of alternative payment models for low-income populations. Dr. Chatterjee completed her residency and chief residency in internal medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She received her BS and MPH from Yale University and her MD from Harvard Medical School.
