I am an applied microeconomist at the Institute for Social and Economic Research (ISER), University of Essex. My research focuses on the economics of education, human capital development, and labour economics, with a particular interest in how early-life characteristics shape outcomes across the life course.
I was the Principal Investigator of an ADR UK (ESRC) Research Fellowship examining how early socio-emotional skills influence long-term outcomes. I am also Co-Investigator on an ESRC Secondary Data Analysis Initiative (SDAI) project investigating the impact of teacher mental health on children's outcomes, and a member of the core research team on a Nuffield Foundation project evaluating restorative and relational practices in English schools.
