He spearheaded the Central Region Financial Markets Team, overseeing tax and audit functions related to various financial instruments. He also contributed to the Chicago Office "On Call" Team and was vital to the Financial Valuation Services Specialty Team during his tenure at Arthur Andersen & Co.

In 1994, Paul Daugerdas's expertise found a new home at the Law Offices of Altheimer & Gray, where he became a partner and Head of the Tax Department.
