Welcome to my website. I am Pau Balart.

I am an Associate Professor at Universitat de les Illes Balears in Spain. Before, I was a postdoc at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (2011-2015). I received my Ph.D. in 2011 from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (IDEA).

My research is on Applied Economics and Applied Economic Theory and covers a wide range of topics such as education, rent-seeking, and more recently, environmental economics. My research has been published in Nature Communications, Journal of Public Economics, Economics of Education Review, and Experimental Economics, among other academic journals.
