Supplies Needed: colored construction paper, pencil, green pipe cleaner, scissors, glue
Optioal supplies: hot glue gun
Steps:
Gather your supplies.
Trace all the handprints that are going to be used to make a bouquet on colored construction or card stock paper.
Cut 2″ strip strips of yellow construction paper that will be used as the flower stems. Cut as many strips as flowers you will be making.
Cut slices into the yellow paper strips starting from one edge and leaving about half an inch of space on the other end. Try to cut the slices as thin as possible.
Apply glue to uncut end of the yellow strip and stick it to the top of the pipe cleaner. Roll the paper around the pipe cleaner and glue the other end, too. Curl the paper to the outside using your fingers.
Wrap each handprint around a stem, connect the basis of the hands and glue them in place.
Wrap each flower petal on a pencil or your finger to give it a curly look.
Gather all the flowers for your bouquet and wrap them in brown paper and tie it with a colorful ribbon or just tie a bow around your handprint flowers.
