Supplies: winter produce , plate, colander, bowl, knife, cutting board, fork
Optional supplies: salad dressing
Steps:
For the harvest, pick lettuce, spinach or swiss chard and radishes or beets or carrots and sweet peas from the garden you planted.
Wash the vegetables. Dry the leaves, and tear them up into the colander or bowl. Add whatever extra ingredients you have or you wish (radishes, beets, carrots and whatever else you have at home). You may also choose to add tomatoes, cucumbers, etc. (summer harvest food) from home. You may choose to ask a parent to cut up radishes and beets to make it easier to eat.
Put some of the prepared salad on a plate.
