Making a fall snack with apples and having fun!
Supplies Needed: Apples, peanut butter/almond butter/nutella spread, fruit of your choice cut up, mini chocolate chips, dried fruit like raisins or craisins, coconut flakes, sprinkles, etc.
Apple "Cookie" Decorating
Steps:
Wash hands before you start cooking.
Take out the ingredients you will use. You can separate the toppings in small containers or cupcake liners or pan for ease.
Student or adult slice apple into ¼ “ rings and then cut the core out of each slice with a small cookie cutter or corer or pairing knife.
Let the student spread the peanut butter/almond butter/Nutella or whatever spread you have onto the apple slice.
Have them decorate their apple “cookie” with toppings.
Eat when finished. Enjoy!
