Patricia (Patty) C. Gallegos is a New Mexico-based artist who creates functional pottery and paints in a contemporary Southwestern style. Inspired by the beauty of old buildings, flowers, animals, and the rich landscapes of her home state, Patty brings warmth and history into her work.

Since retiring in 1997, she has dedicated herself to painting, taking lessons and participating in numerous workshops and art classes at Eastern New Mexico University in Ruidoso. Her talent has been recognized in several juried shows, including The Pastel Society of NM, the NM State Fair Fine Arts, the Art Show at the Dog Show, and The Rio Grande Arts Association.

Looking ahead, Patty is excited to explore new themes, including a series of Catholic churches, vintage trucks, and abstract works. She is an active member of Camino Real Artists, the NM Veterans Art Group, and the Rio Grande Art Association.
